How To Make A Blog Category Available For Syndication
- Go to Website > Blogs > Blog Categories
- On the right hand side of the page, find the blog category you wish to syndicate
- If it already says 'yes' under 'syndicated' then this has already been done.
- If it says 'no' under 'syndicated' then click on the blog category name
- Scroll down to 'syndication' and choose 'enabled' from blog category drop-down
- Click 'update'By default all blog categories are 'enabled' for syndication
How To Add A Syndicated Blog Category To Your Website
- Speak with a website or company administrator to confirm they have already allowed for syndication for their blog category, on the blog category editor page.
- Then, go to Website > Syndication RSS Subscription Settings (if you do not see Syndication RSS Subscription Settings as an option, please speak with your website or company admin, who can edit your permission)
- Then go to Sources
- Under available sources use the Click 'Add Internal FeedNew' drop-down to choose which syndicated blog categories you want to add to your website. In this drop-down you will see every single blog category that has been given syndication permission from every single station within your parent company.
- Once you've chosen a category, click the 'Add Feed' button, you should now see the syndicated blog category listed as a 'Subscribed Source'

- By default, the author of the post on the originating station, should be the author displayed in the byline on the syndicated version of the post
- If you wish to change this, you can either change the author/settings for ALL syndicated blogs categories (that you've added as a feed under 'source') by going to Syndication RSS Subscription Settings > Authors
- If you would like to edit the author for a specific feed/blog category, go to Syndication RSS Subscription Settings > Authors > and choose a blog category/feed from the drop-down
- Then using the 'syndicated authors' section to adjust.
- Click 'Save Changes'
