The "Manage Accounts" User Permission (accessed through http://admin.socastsrm.com/staff) is now only available to Company Administrators. Before, this permission could be given to Users as well. This function allows staff to add, edit and delete accounts (i.e. stations) within SoCast. Having this available to Users caused permission conflicts and contributed to unexpected platform logouts. Users will continue to have access to accounts that are checked off in the "Account Assignment" area of their permissions. As a result, we don't expect a significant impact. If a User needs access to the "Manage Accounts" function please elevate them to a Company Administrator Role. To do this, you may need to contact your Company Administrator. |
