RSS Subscription does not keep the blog post featured image placement on the syndicated version.
How To Make A Blog Category Available For Syndication
By default all blog categories are 'enabled' for syndication
How To Add A Syndicated Blog Category To Your Website
Speak with a website or company administrator to confirm they have already allowed for syndication for their blog category, on the blog category editor page.
Then, go to Website > RSS Subscription Settings (if you do not see RSS Subscription Settings as an option, please speak with your website or company admin, who can edit your permission)
Then go to Sources
Click 'Add New' to choose which syndicated blog categories you want to add to your website. In this drop-down you will see every single blog category that has been given syndication permission from every single station within your parent company.
Once you've chosen a category, click the 'Add Feed' button, you should now see the syndicated blog category listed as a 'Subscribed Source'
How To Change The Author On Syndicated Posts
By default, the author of the post on the originating station, should be the author displayed in the byline on the syndicated version of the post
If you wish to change this, you can either change the author/settings for ALL syndicated blogs categories (that you've added as a feed under 'source') by going to RSS Subscription Settings > Authors
If you would like to edit the author for a specific feed/blog category, go to RSS Subscription Settings > Authors > and choose a blog category/feed from the drop-down
Then using the 'syndicated authors' section to adjust.
