How Do I Track Individual URL's On My Website Using Bit.ly?

Bit.ly is a free service with a limit of up to 10,000 Total Short URLs (bitlinks) and up to 500 Branded Bitlinks and a 30 day tracking view. Additional plans can be purchased through Bit.ly.

Step-by-step guide
Use Case Example: Tracking Feature Rotator Image Clicks
- Go to admin.socastsrm.com
- Select Website → Feature Rotator
- Select the Feature Rotator you wish add tracking links to OR Add a New Feature Rotator
- Once images have been uploaded and destination URL's added to each image, Copy the destination URL you want to track
- Using the bit.ly dashboard OR Chrome Brower Extension click Create Bitlink
- Paste the destination URL for the Feature Rotator image in the Paste Long URL box
- Customize bit.ly short URL as necessary, then Copy bit.ly short URL
- Back in the SoCast Admin Panel, Paste your newly created bit.ly short URL in the URL Box of the Feature Rotator Image
- Click Save at bottom of page.
- User clicks will now register in your bit.ly tracking dashboard.
