What Happens When I Delete A User?

  • Company Admins Or Users With Admin Permissions

Below are the steps you should be taking before deleting a user.

  1. Re-assign all content created to another user.. (i.e a generic news user, or someone else from the company, like a company admin.) Content could include blog posts, pages, sidebars, etc

  2. Once content has been re-assigned, then you can go to Admin > Users and delete the user

  3. If content is not re-assigned before deleting the user, all content will be re-assigned to the person deleting the user.
