How Do I Use My Alexa Skill?

This Article Is For:

  • Clients who have purchased the SoCast Voice App (If you would like to purchase the Voice App please speak with your SoCast Account Manager)

Requirements:

  • Clients must already have an Amazon Developer Account within their country/region
  • Must have an Alexa supported device

Notes:

  • Apps are created with the first Invocation Name provided
  • If Amazon rejects the certification or the Invocation does not work, we attempt to use the second/ third invocation names provided if necessary.
  • All SoCast voice apps are developed according to Amazon Alexa specifications
  • While SoCast attempts to mitigate any operational challenges with Alexa Skills through development, SoCast cannot guarantee the behavior of Amazon Alexa

An invocation name is the name users will say to interact with this skill. This does not have to be the same as the skill name. For more information please click HERE

"Alexa, tell INVOCATION_NAME to start stream",
"Alexa, tell INVOCATION_NAME to start stream please",
"Alexa, ask INVOCATION_NAME to start",
