Step #4: Add Contest Legal (Legacy)

  • All users who have 'Promotions' permissions
  • This is applicable to all SoCast Themes

Requirements:

  • If you have transitioned to SoCast via Promosuite you will not have access to the contesting feature. Please reach out to Promosuite for details.

These instructions are for adding the legal copy for your contest. If you do not add legal copy to your contest, it will be automatically pulled from the legal in your Account Settings or Company Settings (provided legal copy has been added to these sections already) If no legal has been added in any section (Company, Account or Contesting) you will not be able to publish your contest.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Go to: [Promotions>Contest]
  2. You should have already added your contest's content. (For instructions on how to add content to your contest, please see: How Do I Add Content To A Contest?)
  3. Scroll down and click on the 'Legal' tab



    1. Contest Rules:To set up your contest’s rules, add them here. These documents should be reviewed by your legal counsel before use.
    2. Terms and Conditions: To set up your contest’s “Terms and Conditions” add them here. These documents should be reviewed by your legal counsel before use.
    3. Privacy Policy: To set up your contest’s “Privacy Policy” add it here. These documents should be reviewed by your legal counsel before use.
