Media Library: Scaling & Cropping Images

Below are best practices/tips for scaling and cropping images with SoCast's Media Library.
Scaling Images:
- To scale an image, first edit the dimensions in the 'scale image' boxes.
- Then click the 'scale' button.
- Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'update media' your image should now be scaled to your selected dimensions.
Rotating Images:
- To rotate an image, please click the 'rotation' icons
- Click the 'save' button under the image
- Then scroll to the bottom of the page and 'update media' your image should now be rotated to your selected dimensions.
Cropping Images:
- To crop or rotate and image, select the desired crop with your mouse
- Then press the 'Crop' icon in the top left above the photo
- Then press 'save'
- Then scroll to the bottom of the page and 'update media' your image should now be cropped to your selection
Adding Cropped/Scaled Images To A Blog Post:
- After you have cropped/scaled your image, and are 'inserting it into a post', make sure that you always select the "Full Size" option.
- This should match the Full Size of your newly cropped image.
- Go to the article containing the post and delete the old image from the blog (If you had the image inserted before cropping/scaling)
- Then add the new one via the "add media" button.
- Don't forget to select the "Size" option that matches your new image ("Full Size") after the edit.
- Update the post.
