These instructions are for re-setting a staff member's password. Every client creates their own permission groups to best suit their needs, therefore there will always be exceptions. In general most brands/stations will have an admin with the ability to re-set a staff member's password. If you are not an admin and do not have access to re-set staff passwords, please contact your brand/station admin as soon as possible. If you are unable to contact your admin, please contact the SoCast Support Desk for assistance.
Step-by-Step guide
- Log into admin.socastsrm.com
- In the top right hand corner, select 'Admin'
- From the drop-down menu select 'Users'
- Click on the 'All Users' tab
- Search for the staff member who needs their password re-set
- Click the 're-set password' button
- You should see a 'Password reset, email has been sent.' message
- You may also click on the 'pencil' icon under the 'actions' tab beside the staff members name.
- You will now see this staff member's information
- Scroll down to 'password'
- Click the 're-set password' button
- You should see a 'Password reset, email has been sent.' message
- This staff member will now receive an email informing them that someone has re-set their password, it will ask them to log into admin.socastsrm.com and change the password if they wish.
