This Article Is For:
- Clients who have purchased the SoCast mobile app (please reach out to your Account Manager if you would like to purchase the app)
- Clients who have the 'Alarm Clock' feature enabled (Please reach out to your Account Manager if you would like this feature enabled)
For Multi-Tenant App Users:
The app automatically uses the currently saved stream for the alarm if available
If no stream has been selected yet (first-time app use), the modified stream selection screen is displayed with added help text above the stream list when the user taps the "Save" button in the Set Alarm screen toolbar
These are the steps for setting the mobile app alarm clock.
Step-by-step guide
- Open the app
- Go to: Navigation menu
- Click on the 'Alarm' icon
- For first time users, they will be redirected to the 'Settings' screen. This will keep appearing after the user opens the alarm from the navigation drawer until all verifiable app requirements are complete
- If no alarm has been set, "Alarm" menu opens the 'set alarm' screen
- Users can setup the following:
- Time
- Day(s)
- Repeat weekly
- If an alarm has been set, "Alarm" menu item opens the Saved Alarm screen
This screen allows them to see the alarm that has already been set, and allows them to make changes
Once the alarm has been set a confirmation message will appear
If users want to wake up to the radio stream, they must leave it open in their device's background
For instructions for android, read 'save alarm' screen
