Smart Streams are used to analyze sentiment, demographics and engagement for a topic or brand on Twitter using keywords, #HashTags and @Mentions.

With Smart Streams you have the opportunity to enter into conversations people are having with their network, by posting relevant content about a trending topic. With Smart Streams a person/station can post several bits of content about different topics, that would be surfaced to the users most interested in reading them, which makes it an effective targeting tool.
